Hey guys,

VTT Stage 3's at 31-32 psi, pump E85, 11* timing, torque limited to go easier on parts. Nothing crazy. Should be fun at NFZ. Put the unsmoothed graph in there too for a fun comparison. ;)

Glad to see some results out of the stage 3! Did you experience any limitations when trying to go higher at all or is this just where you stopped?

It's not comparable. The GC's are my favorite turbos for just bolting on and ripping around, the lites a close second depending on goals/mods/etc. The Stage 3's can be fitted with a variety of turbos to suit what your driving and power goals are, from moderate to monster. These are pretty good sized turbos. Should be a good time -more details after this weekend. ;)

Looks good! What size GTX turbos are these? And any reason you aren't revving higher? Should just keep climbing.

This is on your car with Schrick cams and ported head right? Still DI only or are you running PI on the top end?

I'm confused on how you made 900+ whp but only 677 wtq. That's the biggest discrepancy in tq vs hp on any N54 I've ever seen.

Great numbers though

His turbos are good for 1100whp IIRC, so that's normal torque for a car that's not close to maxing out the turbos. Plus, look at the ramp in boost.

Most N54s make peak hp much lower in the rev range. His doesn't. So it acts like a Supra.

He limited the wtq in the tune. You don't want excessive torque unless you like burnouts in every gear.

Not quite. Although he may or may not have, that's not the reason for the "low" torque. The high rev ceiling is the cause for this.

Not revving higher as no need to. This wasn’t a max effort tune. This was just a double check before the event.

And yes, torque was limited intentionally.

Will post more after the weekend.

I would think the smallest stage 3 setup like 600 whp goal would out spool stock and everything else with bb reliability.
