As promised our N55 test unit it here. Few teaser pics. This is for a PWG turbo, but we will have EWG of course. We will be using a similar set for the N54's. This particular version is a genuine Garrett GTX3076R center section in custom cast SS turbine housing, 2 piece V-band manifold. This is similar to what we offered in the past with VERY BIG differences being. The biggest problem with every "Stock Frame" N55 upgrade on the market is just that; the "Stock Frame" housing. They are restrictive, designed for quick spool and torque production, NOT making power. These new upgrades get rid of those restrictions on the turbine side and will allow for an easy 500WHP+ to be made on this size unit without overspeeding the unit. We are the hunt for an N55 PWG tester and will get this tested in short order.

Awesome. If you would like to discuss testing let me know. I’m currently running a PS2 on a DCT E82. I’ve been working on developing the MEVD17 xdf for the last year and have some unique tuning solutions. I’m in the Phoenix area.

I'm pretty stoked for this. I'm running an FBO PWG X3 with PI on a PS2. I went with the PS2 because of the stock frame setup ensuring fitment. I'd be tempted by this.

I imagine your new N55 turbo was designed with just that in mind and that the critical portions, in my mind being the turbine to downpipe flange location, as well as the compressor inlet and outlet locations and dimensions, are all exactly where the stock ones are. If the oil and water line fitments aren't exact, so what. Those fluid lines are way easier to fab up quickly than custom downpipes, inlets, and outlets. I imagine it would ship with those custom fluid lines, anyhow.

Having installed my PS2 myself and being all up in and around the turbofold since for various reasons, I'd say that thing will fit just like a stock frame setup, including xDrive cars. I'd be tempted to go with something like a 3582 or bigger if it does have stock frame fitment. While I think my car with its current setup would probably walk that new X3M, once those things get tuned and bolted, I'll be needing a bigger turbo. ;-)

Will be interesting to see what kind of numbers this makes vs the Speed Tech kit with its EFR 7670.

I've actually not seen a ton of customer results from the 7670 at all unfortunately. I'd love to see some 93 oct DI only numbers from it.

VTT kit looks promising though from what we know.
