Upgraded halos

Anyone upgrade their halo rings on a 07 e90? Looking for a diy. Also what rings worked best?

I have a pre-lci e90

I got these:

But, I had to route the capacitors and extra wiring through the main headlight housing to make it all fit cleanly along with trimming the original housing but.. look back would have went with something simpler.

IMO if you are keeping the round Angel Eyes then anything thats decently bright and is a white to bright blue is going to look amazing.

I think there are a few people who make headlight upgrades. Pretty sure you'll be hearing about them over the next month or so.

We are signing right now with new mold company after 2 years trying to get product out of our old one. We are told about 2 months to make new molds and have first batch of parts made. We have circuit boards in stock and power supplies so in theory we are couple months away from having inventory.

Don't swap your ring bulbs with LED's. They always look like sh!t. If you want to upgrade your headlights do it right and crack those suckers open. It's intimidating but not difficult. The most work is getting those suckers on / off.

Good timing on asking, we have first article samples arriving tomorrow (according to FedEx). Had a couple issues to work out with mold maker that we could see in photos which pushed things back about 2 weeks changing the mold layout. We expect to possibly see some other minor cosmetic issues and need another round of samples but we shall see tomorrow!
