anyone have a photo of the bottom side of the dinan intake box lid, the carbon fiber one? Just curious what the webbing looks like under it that looks like.
There is no webbing. it looks pretty rough to be honest.
How does it hold the filter in the center section of the air box? Does it just have a rib with a lot of holes, or one really big oval hole? I assume the Dinan lid doesn't look like the famed 'Free airbox mod' where they just cut all the fins out of the stock box...
335i n54 Dinan Cold Air intake uses the stock underside to hold the filter. It only comes with top and snorkel carbon fiber. I am going to sell mine for $500... wish I didn't have to but mods now with ATF cooler is taking up snorkel area.anyone have a photo of the bottom side of the dinan intake box lid, the carbon fiber one? That's a good price for sure! I was debating making my own lid or modifying the stock one, but now I'm thinking I'm just going to do the Mr5 intake. I'm a fan of stock looking engine bays, so if I got the dinan I'd probably wrinkle paint the carbon to make it more stock ish!

I was more thinking I would copy the entrance location and make my own piping... I have a mig and tig welder with plenty of piping on the shelves.
But yeah the Dinan is far cleaner. Let me see how my other buys go and what I have leftover. Got the Gc lites, working up a huge list of preventative maintenance, so trying to keep in budget lol.
