My car has reached the point where I no longer daily drive it so it's time to strip it down and make it more track focused. The plan is to remove all the interior parts I don't need, make a bolt in halfcage (fullcage at another time),install seats, delete the sunroof and make it look as good as it can in the process.

I made a mount for the ekp and my secondary fuel pump module. I also had to make a new mont for the meth tank/pump as my old one was bolted to the LR quarter panel trim.

Secondary fuel pump module? Are you the guy who made your own board for that?

Yes. I ran into some issues with it so for now I just stuck a solid state relay in there and used a Hobbs swtich until I have more time to play with it. It works fine but the pulse width coming from the dme is too high at idle resulting in 8x psi. There's a few ways around this it's just not high on my priority list at this point.

I found a carbon one for the e92. The e82's sun roof is the same part number so it should fit. I'll find out in a few days when it arrives.

While I'm waiting for the sun roof delete I decided to wrap the rear wire harness.

That has a nice, clean and professional look to it now. Just hope you don't have to undo it!

Roughed out some a pillar covers out of abs. I already had a battery tray delete I made when I did the lightweight battery/relocation.

Just noticed the gauges in the dash, have to say they look pretty badass :)

Curious how much weight you have dropped so far and what weight your at!
I have some corner weights so when I get the cage done I'll post the final weight. The car is back on the ground now just need to find the time to knock out the cage.

I had to do some mild trimming to get the sunroof to fit but all and all I'm happy with it. I ended up sealing it from the top with black rtv.

I think this is one of the first times I've seen a sunroof deleted outside of paying for the option to delete it from the factory. What needed trimmed?

This is great looking to say the least, one day I'll definitely consider taking this path with my car! Need a new daily first though lol.

Mine's a daily driver and I still want to do this. Anyone who rides in the back complains anyways so I might as well take them out! lol
