Your sheet: "Most ratings are based on a 48 hour "soak test" at 72º F"

If it's from this GPI

Corrosion rates are couple pages in

That paper is an accelerated corrosion test. What I meant was, in real life have you seen someone use a brass fitting in a fuel system, then for it to corrode so badly that it resulted in a fuel system or engine failure. My guess would be no.

I'm going to cut a spare fitting in half, stick them in E85 and gasoline, and watch what it does.

Or just don't use brass is another option

A dremmel & patience. I cut up a few hats before to understand the restrictions...so the bypass was all part of the fun. The stump to connect the corrugated fuel hose to is not very long but enough to fit a clamp solid around it or one can dremmel away another inch or so for more clearance. I heat up the fuel line to push it over and while it was still warm clamp it down. The connectionView attachment 22292View attachment 22293View attachment 22294View attachment 22295 felt pretty tight and solid.
Any update on this? I am considering doing the same thing.

240zg, TA22, Golf R, 1m clone,
Done something similar to you guys,
But Ive got a 535 feeding the filterless regulator less hat, also with a 450 feeding a second outlet on the same hat. Then joins a -8 single feed to LPF rail then engine bay mounted FPR then returned via -6. 535 controlled by the cooled EKM, 450 via trigger separately. Should be more than enough.

Where’d you end up mounting the regulator?
