Tactical green dip job

Just finished this dip job the other day.

Only thing I still need to do is paint the inside of the door jambs.

Did you get a spray kit or did you fully DIY it?
Thank you. I bought the gallons from dipyourcar.com

Three gallons of grey and three gallons of tactical green. Not sure if i needed to lay base coat of grey. However it makes it thicker so it's easier to peel later.

They sell kits with everything too.

I think you made the right choice with the lower layer. It will help on rock chips, any uneven-ness, etc.


I freaking love it. The front end and the green looks great. :)

Yeah, I saw those vids a while back. I watched a ton from dipyourcar.com

One thing about the e60 to take note of is the rubber seals around the door. They sit flush against the pillars and roof line. Makes peeling the tape away a PITA. Next time I'm painting doors open with the jams taped off.
