Hello all, So after ignoring all of your advice about not buying a 335I, I went and did it.

Anyways, I have an interesting problem.

When I set the JB4 Map to 0 and try and do a 3rd gear pull, the CEL comes on, with the error 30FF

If I then put Map 1 back on, I can WOT without any engine codes, the only time which I have noticed I get a code is when I'm in M6, and I just apply throttle instead of changing down a gear.

The vacuum lines were replaced by BMW about 2 years ago, does anyone have any sort of remedy?

I only opened the first log.
Set all default settings and log map 1.
Tmap is wrong as well as DWP, Fuel Bias, Duty Bias, etc
Hello, I managed to experience some very weird scenarios tonight, when I tried just MHD stage 1, when I got to around 3k revs it would hesitate and then the power just completely disappeared and I came to a stop.

I tried doing logs with stage 1, stage 1 + and stock (MHD installed)

I have no mods installed.

OEM charge pipe is installed,
Sparkplug and coils are god knows how old (possible change)??

I have attached lots of LOGS via SPOOLSTREET as I am unable to get them as a .csv file for you.

Stage 0 MAP LOG
Stage 0 MAP LOG 2
Stage 0 MAP LOG 3
Stage 1 MAP LOG (91OCT)
Stage 1+ MAP LOG (93OCT)

I'm really hoping you, or someone else can help. It's so strange, when I run JB4 (MAP 1) or JB4 + BEF I never get any error codes, but now I have returned to stock, it's not happy.

I got a variety of DTC codes tonight :

2BA2 Terminal 15 deactivation, activation.
2D2E Throttle-valve angle - intake-manifold vacuum, correlation
30FE Turbo charge-air pressure too high (map 0 MHD)
30FF (stage 1)

Do you want MHD or Jb4 ?
Jb4 will use a BEF that can be loaded via MHD.

just MHD. It seems better, even with these problems..

I put jb4 on map 0 so it’s off and now it should be just MHD
Then completely remove the jb4 and go MHD to avoid any issues. The jb4 is still tied into the DME harness. Even if you had a loose connection, it will still cause issues even if its off.

Hey, Great news!!!

I removed the JB4 (I'm sure someone here will buy it)

I changed the spark plugs (they looked like the oem ones from factory) so 54k miles later they definitely needed a change.

I did some logging today, and the car is running great stock and tuned. I am aware that I need a new Intercooler, though.

Stage 0 MAP LOG 1
Stage 0 MAP LOG 2
Stage 1+ MAP LOG 1
Stage 1+ MAP LOG 2
Stage 1+ MAP LOG 3
Stage 1+ MAP LOG 4

I'm going to leave Stage 1+ on, because I don't actually accelerate hard, much, so there is no need to change + everything is working!

I am going to order a new intercooler and downpipes at some point.
(if anyone in the uk knows a seller which has them that would be great)
