I listened closely it definitely went through second fine, when I released the clutch to hit 3rd is when it let go.

@RuskiRacer We'll be pulling the motor this Thursday. Ill let you know what clutch was in it, It couldn't of been stock. You think a stock or a "is" clutch would hold over 500whp for a few pulls?

Luckily we all keep a spare, he's bringing it over tomorrow, car won't be down for long.
Yeah a is clutch will hold over 500whp from rolls for awhile

Interesting predicament, and I’d like to hear some opinions. I personally think the cam seized first.

If you had measured the intake cam for timing position you could have told if the hub even spun or just exhaust side destroyed.

How high was the initial breakaway torque when loosening the bolt? Was there any?
With these damaged threads i can only imaging that it was difficult to get the bolt out and that the crankshaft threads now are fucked.

The hub had definitely spun. After the car broke when we cranked it, the crank pulley would not spin with the crank and the crank pulley had tons of movement in it. The crank bolt was less then snug, I backed it the whole way out by hand with zero effort. The bolt on the cam definitely broke in a unorthodox Manner. Seems like what ever happened was violent.
