Hey guys, that’s my car
Correct on the GTX3076r Gen 2. We‘re going for max responsiveness over max power with a goal of 500-550whp. As for the SpeedTech kit, we haven’t yet run it as the rest of the car is being built... but given the simplicity of hard parts paired with proven reliability of the few moving parts (Garrett turbo, Turbosmart WG, etc) we don’t anticipate much of a headache with this kit. Will gladly report once we get some miles on her. Here are a few pics of where the build is at right now...
Mocked up custom rear diffuser, custom setrab p/s cooler (needed with the added front tire width), Klaus Composites custom full CF front splitter, full cage, fire suppression, custom dash and infinity more other goodies.
And that’s a pic of my little dude who loves coming with me to the shop. By age 2 he could tell you every make and most models of cars. I’m in danger!
Such a sick build. Glad you got your brakes sorted. The Trophy's are way cooler anyway
What are you running for management? Totally agree on the simplicity of the Speedtech kit, I just keep hearing horror stories of drivability and consistancy with a single kit on the N54 and wonder how it'll all translate on the road course where it matters most. Hardware-wise, this looks like the way to go. I was talking to Jeff about running this kit as well with a 30r or even a 3071 since my goals are 450-500whp. I know it's already on the car, but one thing I'm always curious about is the weight difference between the factory twin system and something like this single kit.
