S55 intercooler on N54 for HPDE use

anyone using a s55 style w2a intercooler on a n54 for track use? Curious if it allows a more compact heat exchanger allowing room for an aux radiator for additional cooling

There was a guy that integrated the system into his e9x. Not sure if he ever finishes it. There was also a guy with a 1 series that made the switch and had/has it running. I can’t remember if it was ever posted on here or just on e90post. I’ve been thinking about this more and more though lately because it would allow for a taller and thinner radiator with more frontal area, as well as simplifying the charge piping layout.

lots of used intercoolers, burger has a nice upgrade now that's not terribly expensive too
