what size that hood exit? 3, or 4"
for my ear / experience low velocity gas (i.e. 4" exhaust) exits on 6 and 4 cylinders all sound like sh8t at low rpm. personal taste obviously but holds true for me across a variety of platforms and firing orders.
back pressures not an issue for that length so maybe try and reduce that diameter, since you did all that work already. might only make a difference for full exhaust length but worth a shot.

Ive got 3.5 and 4 inch tube at home.
3 inch would sound best.

I will keep a 3.5inch bonnet exhaust to test the power at the dyno.
This is to make a like for like dyno comparison between stock style, log style and this equal long runner style manifold. Same boost, timing and ambient temps are always the same here.

Later I will make a new 3.5 inch or even a 3 inch full exhaust on a smaller turbo.

Found the water leak.

Made a pipe.
Then made the pipe longer and installed it.

Ready for dyno.

Just need to a 1 or 2 pie cuts to exhaust and put turbo and wastegate beanie on.

This is the setup going to the dyno.
Custom manifold
Precision 6466 T4 Divided 1.0Aar
45mm Turbosmart wastegate 17psi spring
3.5 shorty Exhaust
Port injection 750cc injectors
E85
Powerglide transmission

Should be around 470kw on 28psi 10 degrees timing.

This is super interesting what you're doing comparing the actual results with different manifold types, thanks for sharing this! Sorry if you posted and I missed it, but did you weld that wastegate flange onto the turbine housing yourself?

Yes I drill a hole and weld the wastegate on the turbo exhaust housing.

I predict it will make same peak power but the curve will come on earlier… she sounds epic cuz
