Pump Gas 6266 Dyno

Hey Guys

Labor day I took the car to the dyno to see what the car was putting down. I went in looking for 500+. It made 534 at 21psi.

We had a hard time getting a clean tachometer signal, thats why there is no torque reading.

rail pressure looks like you can boost up about 22-23, then 550WHP is not a problem stock DI only

Car ran 22psi mid and tapered to 21. I am very happy with my rail pressures and plan to use every drop when I start to toy with race gas.

Nice numbers! Is that straight pump 93? Who tuned it?

We don't get to see enough pump gas numbers on this platform. Which is odd as there is more pump gas than E85 available in the states. Perhaps people don't like the numbers they put down ;)

Have you considered running meth? I bet you would be knocking on 600whp. It is cheaper than race gas and you will have it all the time. Just a thought.

Nice results! Taking it up to 7400 too. Time to get an electronic boost controlled or boost box to keep that boost from tapering off.

Hey Torgus - This is pump 93 octane and was tuned by myself. I had a hard time with "E" mixes and running 20psi, so I decided to give up on my butt dyno and go pump gas, haha.

I tinker with this tune enough that adding meth to the mix would drive me nuts, lol. Race gas would be easier for me in the short spurts that I would use it.

Chris! You remembered my other thread! The old boostbox is still in the car, but I took out the mac solenoid. When I suspected it broke I had other issues like mosphets needing to be replaced for a second time after I installed PR coils. So MBC for now.

The 7400 rpm didn't help with hp like I thought it would. Just some extra revs at 500+. Which I suppose is still nice.

What engine management?
Thanks man! It is MHD with a Manual boost controller. I've seen your threads/dyno's, you have a mean car.
