Wanted to check my plugs and having a issue removing my PR Coil boot from my plugs.they are on very tight and my boots sit little inside the plug hole, whats the best way to remove them?
Well,I tried that and boot came out but left part of the inside on plug.looks like I'm up sheets creek.I don't have them personally but I heavily considered them and spoke to PR about them a lot. My understanding is you lift up the "skirt" to help break suction, and then pull from the base (aka the part under the skirt, at the top of your plug cylinder)
i did put grease prior to installTime for a new set of PR wires. ($70)
The new ones are an upgrade over the old ones. Make sure to put dielectric grease (a.k.a., silicone grease) between the rubber boot and ceramic insulator of the plug.
Why not spray wd40nothing ripped(yet)i tried pulling up by the round boot but was afraid to put force as to it might rip
I bought the same grease, and it caked up and got a little stuck. I used wd40 and it came out.i did put grease prior to install

I used what was recommended.nothing caked up at all.in this case I don't think that caused a issue.as you can see.I bought the same grease, and it caked up and got a little stuck. I used wd40 and it came out.
