I wired in my clutch switch wire properly, ran an open loop on the black connector In the dme box, removed $205 auto transmission from vehicle order and coded other modules it promoted me to. Flashed a bef map and clicked shift bog delete box. Still no luck any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ive done this. Left the auto harness just zip tied out of the way. Wired the clutch and reverse switches. Remove $205 from CAS and FRM. Code modules- I believe I hit CAS, FRM, DSC, and the JBE. Then flash the DME with MHD which saw the VO change and automatically wrote the manual version. Should be a long write- about 20 mins even if you already have MHD on the car. Hope this helps.

The only step I did not do is wire in the reverse switch because I have no I drive-in the car. But if this is the critical step that still needs to be done I will do that today and double check all of my coding as well.

I doubt you would get all of those codes from a reverse switch not being wired in. I would double check in the CAS and FRM that the VO was done correctly, then recode the modules again to be sure. It won't hurt anything to double check like you said. What loop are talking about in the DME box? Im unfamiliar with that.

The dme does not seem to want to accept the coding the other modules do and do not show signs of the auto transmission codes but the dme will not get coded. I do not know what to do..

Do you have mhd for the car? If you have any of the OTS maps try to flash one of them. MHD should see $205 isn't in the vo and flash the manual software.
I have flashed a mhd backend clicked shift bog delete check box, set up my launch control, still does not work for some reason. I've tried multiple times and even slightly different ways. I didn't want to have to program my msd81 to the car but if it still won't work today after I try it again I really don't know what else to do.

It has to be in the wiring, I would go all through it and make sure all your connections are solid, have you checked your ground? All modules need to be default coded with the new VO and then you clear codes and do the long write.

I went through double checked all the wiring double checked the ground for the clutch switch, I'm not sure what other grounds to check I didn't mess with any others. Some one tells me I have to go in with Inpa and clear learned adaptations so it stops looking for the auto transmission

Clutch Switch and Reverse Switch (Brown wire from the Trans Connector) should be grounded. I cleared my adaptations in ProTool prior to flashing. Mine went so smooth, sucks you are having issues...

I think I recall you saying PRO tool wouldnt let you default code some of the modules? Didnt you not hook up the reverse light switch (wire to NFRM module)? That might be screwing everything up. All the modules need to see that its a manual.

Yeah it's true I didn't wire in the reverse light switch. And yes the only module that I cannot get the CD auto trans codes to clear from is the dme. Some guys on n54tech said the reverse switch should have no affect but it's not hard to wire in so I will give that a shot. Re default code everything reset adaptations and the try to reflash.

You have the wire going to the DME right? I think its pin 18 or 19 on the grey connector?

Came here to say that protool is not reliable to default coding modules. If thats what you are using switch to a laptop instead

Guys is it a bad idea to swap my msd81 from my donor car along with the cas module. I have the key from the donor car as well and code my new index 12 injectors into the car. The msd80 in the car is frustrating me and I would prefer the msd81 mofsets anyways. Please let me know what you guys think

you will need to code your swapped cas anyways...not going to make any difference if you cant proper code the car
