Hi, my car is in a shop and guys are trying to install all the stuff I brought to them. Now they are struggling with front silicone inlet (Phoenix 2"). The turbos are Hydra HP650. Before, I had MMP inlets that were easy and shaped well, these Phoenix look like to be interfering with water hose leading to oil thermostat. Do you have any tips how to do it?

MMP inlet was long and matched the water hose and oil hoses with no problem, Phoenix is just in way of everything.

Put the water hose on first then try and work the inlet around it. I am not familiar with that brand. Maybe the quality control is not so good?

Well, after a while we find out that the biggest problem is that the 2" inlet does not fit with CFS water cooler and fan. All is so squeezed that the pulleys would not turn :-D

So they will replace part of the silicone inlet with an aluminium 50mm tube.

Yes, under the alternator was better.. but the inlet would still be squeezed between the fan and the pulleys :)
All OK now with additional room thanks to the aluminium tube. There are other challenges to cope with, but the guys are not afraid of anything, they want to give me a neat car.
