In for ideas... I'm currently in the market for an inexpensive single conversion...

If you watch my video, you can save $100 on a Doc Race kit. In my opinion, it's the best kit on the market for the price.

It'll take you 12 months to get it.

He was actually selling some of them on Ebay, and I sent him a message, and he said he would list them as they were in stock. Seemed legit. Plus you get the Ebay and Paypal gaurantee.

How do you feel about the "new" JPWorks bottom mount log manifold? That is an actual budget kit. http://jpworkz.com/bmw-n54-n55-bottom-mount-turbo-kit-journal-bearing-precision/
I think this is a good development. Is the $2400 the cost of everything you'll need to get up and running? If so, I think its a good deal and a good option, the fabricator's reputation and delivery times aside. Even with that in mind, I don't think I know of any outstanding JPworkz complaints.

One kit was sold on eBay here is the feedback from it:

"worst experience buying online so far, seller does not respond to my messages"

I currently have on3 manifold and intercooler, bought a pte 6266 and tial mvr to replace the Chinese parts supplied. All in all, the kit fits fine even with a bigger turbo, its laggy, reaching full boost at 4k rpm. When I was at the stage of purchasing, my engine had just blew up, and I was penny pinching in the end trying to upgrade as many things that I could. All I Knew was that I didn't have weeks of waiting time, as my car was in a shop costing my money to have it there. So I wanted a kit that I knew wouldn't have fitment issues and would ship in less then 2 weeks. In the end if I had more cash and time, I would of done a higher quality ST kit, but there is always room to upgrade in the future. I paid $3950 for everything, thats with a 6266 and tial wg (sourced though gear head performance) and $400 shipping (alaska problems, took 2 1/2 weeks) 10k miles later on the new engine and the on3 kit, no issues as far. In the end I would just wait and get a better kit.

Payam. Last bottom mount I saw from acf on spoolstreet had a $6000-7000 price tag. Looked really nice but not a “budget kit”. Is there a different one? Any links or pics?

It's a shame people get treated with no respect after forking over $4k to a complete stranger for part that don't exist:(

Very interested in the budget twin scroll bottom mount. Affordable options are nice, that's what keeps on3 looking so attractive even if it is a single scroll manifold.
