I've been trying to go beyond the 0.022" gap on the 97506. Just trying the B58 plugs to see the diff.
Still running good? I think 98 RON is the US equivalent to 93 octane or really close. I put the kit in with the B58 plugs with the stock gaps over the weekend but can't run logs until my wheels get here. Car seems to idle better but I'm also bat shit crazy so who knows.
I'm wondering what affect the 0.029" gap is going to have with me running e40 with meth over the top. I couldn't go beyond 0.020" on the 97506 plugs with the BL coils.
Which engine ?Hi all! The ones that has experience with coils, I am having big issues with spark misfires. I push 30 psi to my car but spatk is braking out. Have trid gapping spark to .017 with no success. Last week installed new eldors S55 coils no success. Now have lower boost to 23 psi and appears to have an improved. In this regards and since I am in a big need of buying a strong coil kit, should you recommend me to wait for nexsys or do I can go with BL ones.? Asking because apparently this 3-4 weeks back order thing is going to take wayyyyyy more than that.
Please provide your suggestions based on experience and what do you suggest, please.
Doesn't seem to cover the coils injectors and plug holes so what's the point of this CF piece? Looks tacked on.Hey guys.
Although this is most likely out of everyone's hands except MHD's, any update on the checkbox option?
Also, is anyone running these coils with a VTT valve cover? I was wondering if a coil cover like the NRW one would fit nice and flush as pictured here:

I'm looking at removing my PR coils as it seems like they are just too bulky and would make this coil cover look rather janky when fitted:

It's really just to keep things looking tidy with an aftermarket VC, and hopefully help with keeping injector noise down, without having to run a full engine cover that hides a nice looking VC.Doesn't seem to cover the coils injectors and plug holes so what's the point of this CF piece? Looks tacked on.
Any update on the N55 kit? some progress info and possibly some pics would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to be a beta tester for the N55 kit send me an email at [email protected]. Just moved into a new shop so we've been focusing on shipping N54 orders. The glaringly obvious lack of information and /or updates on the N55 kit has me worried now that I actually NEED this to get may car running again since the OEM coils are bad and the PR kit cannot fit anymore! time to do some research and do this myself!
Correct, the M18 valve cover doesnt require the longer boots.is it right that the longer boots are only needed with the OEM Valve covers?
the m18 valve cover have the stock b58 coils without any modification?
Still 4 weeks out for new orders. We are working on adding more color options but at this time its still raw aluminum (very popular) or black. The aluminum plate is it available in any other colors than silver and black? Just received the Eldor b58 coils... now I need to make up my mind on the plate cover color!! Are you still three or four weeks out ? May be going with CES motorsports bottom mount turbo!! Every decision I make is critical in building my N54, Looks like you have done an excellent job in designing this coil kit..much appreciated!!
