So who wants to get us some info on this? Looks to be a programmable EKP2 replacement that is integrated into the CAN BUS that can inherently control 2 DW400's or 2 Walbro 450's.

No more hobbs switch?

No more tapping into hot leads to power a second pump?

Maybe it's full time PWM control of both pumps at all times?

I have questions....

Hopefully all the above. I think I either need this, or I'll figure out what AUX pins on Syvecs will trigger a relay to kick on the extra pumps.

I think Precision Raceworks has been working on one of these forever now. Would be a cool upgrade for sure.

So I emailed Torqbyte and asked if they could PWM control two pumps simultaneously. This is the reply:

Hi Matthew,
Yes it is. We have a special parallel Y pump harness for N54 applications. You can see a photo of it on our Instagram page.
The only thing gating the N54 release is some software testing we plan to complete in the next 2 weeks. Otherwise that will be the first BMW platform we suport.
Thanks
Alex

One more reply, I asked how many amps it could handle:

It comes with a 40A fuse. You shouldn't need to (even with 2x DW400s) but if required you can run a 50A fuse as long as the unit is mounted relatively close to the fuel sender (under 3ft).

I wonder if it could control 3 pumps

Not with a 40a/50a max load rating.

But lets get real, a single Walbro 450 can push 600hp worth of e85...do you need 3 of those? Does anyone need 3 of those on this platform? People are hitting other limits of the LP fueling system and instead of properly addressing those limits they are just adding another pump.

I am well aware of that and yes I do need 3. Alex at torqbyte got back to me and answered my questions. I have a solution now.

Has anyone thought about relocating the fuel pump to the engine bay?

The MagnaFuel MP-4303 is a high hp capible external pump that could work for this idea. I was thinking that you could replace the OEM fuel pump with a fuel hose that gets tied down to the bottom of the bucket, then add new -5an/8an fuel line from the tank to the engine bay, then you install the mp-4303 in the engine bay with a fuel pressure regulator that then connects to the hpfp. Seems like a cheaper and more reliable solution over 3 pumps, hobb's switch/control modules.

2 Walbro 450s is enough to power 1000+hp.
