Not sure if I shared this before, but this is the difference between the beta overdrive on the left, one that a certain someone was trying to sell as a production unit on instagram and also the same one people were leaking specs about, meanwhile none of the tuning was done and the unit on the right was just beginning to be tested. So really, all those things people were 'leaking' weren't even accurate, yet a lot of conclusions were drawn based on that info. This is why people were asked to hold tight and not make any assumptions, because frankly none of the info circulating at the time was even representative of what would be sold. These are both 3x:

This is my personal HPFP graveyard. You can get an idea how many times someone told me my HPFP was bad and they were wrong:

One man's junk is another man's treasure, you trying to get rid of any of them? I'd buy one for the right price

Probably.

Edit- if you speak of an annotated disassembly, absolutely
I'm going to say yes. It has anything and everything for the DME. What tables are connected to others, functions. Only issue is it is in German. I figured I'd ask to see if the people who could actually use it already had it, or if it would be useful if public.

I thought the n55/s55 were already well documented. Perhaps this is what they are talking about?

Seeing as no one seems to care about the document I guess so. Was just hoping to trade it for the N55 hpfp tables.

Thats why people were so secretive about the porsche pumps.
I believe this is the pump they are using, and it is huge, so if it turns out to be working then no more fuel problems i'm sure.
it is funny cause some people knew for a very long time about these pums....

Hey Guys..... My Current HPFP is still doing a great job, but the engine is now at 92K miles and I want to replace the HPFP as a part of my performance upgrade program. Ive been told not to bother with the Spool Helix because of concerns about damage to the drive system and timing chain tensioner. And I'm not really a fan of the VTT Shotgun system.

So, I'm on the look out for other HPFP upgrade options, before I go buying another stock OEM one ??.

I wouldn't replace it but that is me.

PFS has their POD coming out soon or so I hear. I am guessing it is another over drive unit.

At the end of the day all of the HPFPs are still limited by the injectors. If shooting for high HP PI is still required. Given how inexpensive PI is I would go that route vs. messing with the HPFP etc.

Port injection is your best bet these days for real reliable power. Helix works but the question is for how long.
I'm probably going to get a TBI Kit from Wedge Performance. But I was just thinking of upgrading my HPFP anyway. As the existing one has a lot of miles on it and replacing it, just seems like good maintenance. So why not upgrade at the same time ?.

Yes people should learn from my mistake. I purchased a used helix ran it for like 3 k miles approximately the rattling started getting so severe that I eventually took it out to inspect it and the helix itself was just leaking all its bearing grease out from the seals. You can make 700wheel on the helix I would say but its so hard on all the other components around it its just not worth it. On top of that spool will not warranty the helix if you do not buy it directly from them. They probably have some of the worst customer service that I have dealt with in recent memory will not respond to my emails about my ethanol sensor not working and I assure you I have everything hooked up properly.

You only can buy remanufacted hpfps anyways. The old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it applies to the hpfp in my opinion.

FWIW I have a reman'd pump unused since purchase for sale, sold my car before installing that or the overdrive.

As far as I know the injectors are more than capable of spraying as much fuel as you'd ever need. The limitation is the pressure in the fuel rail due to the hpfp. Hence the overdrive and dual hpfp solutions.
Would be great if someone just designed a hpfp with bigger chambers to move double the fuel or more...
