Hey guys,
I've been kind of out of the loop lately with all things N54-related, however I did manage to e-tune an E90 335xi in Romania a couple of weeks ago, and the results exceeded our expectations...

100-200 in 5.89s, full weight street trim with a bunch of crap in the trunk, running 98RON + meth. 10 degrees of timing up top
100-200 in 5.53s gutted interior and fiberglass doors running Q16 + meth, only 12 degrees of timing up top so the Q16 didn't really do much, 54F ambient temps
1/4mi in 11.02 @135.5mph in 72F ambient temps. Only got to do one run and hit the limiter on the 1-2 shift with a resultant 2048 torque limiter and subsequent shift bog. Would have been even quicker on the 2nd run but unfortunately the car in the other lane lost it and crashed into the E90. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and the damage wasn't too bad, but his day was done...

Mods are as follows:
bone stock engine
bone stock 6AT with xHP software
MMP relocated inlets
Hydra modded MMP outlets
Aquamist HFS4 meth kit running 1.0mm and 0.9mm nozzles
VRSF 7.5" FMIC
Hydra-spec TD04HL-19T turbos running ~28psi of boost
Stage 2 Walbro 450 LPFP
no PI
MHD flash only, e-tuned by Hydra Performance

Nice work, that's a great trap speed! Wonder how the Xi will hold up to the torque from the twins.

Keep in mind that all the "gutting" in question, plus a tank full of Q16 and 2 degrees more ignition advance only netted a 0.36s (or 6.5%) improvement in the 100-200, or a ~45whp difference at this level which isn't night and day. Also keep in mind that the E90 xi weighs over 3800lbs, so even fully gutted it still weighs the same as a stock E82 135...

LOL, so you rebuilt a set of GC's with TDO4HL's (which come in the GC's, and 19T's (which also come in the GC's) and now its a Hydra-spec turbo. Thats a good one. Hey guys I rebuilt my N54 with CP, pistons, and Manley Rods, its no longer a BMW motor, is a VTT Spec motor...:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

1. Great #s. Well done

2. Glad no one injured in the wreck, what a headache situation.

3. Dude taped up the door gaps and removed door handles. That's pretty gangster. Got to give it up for that kind of determination.

4.Don't think it was mentioned, what tires are those? Balkens? ZING! (see what I did there )
