Extracted from images-vehicle.db.
Filenames are hex offsets in the db.
Attached is the script I used to extract.

I thought this would be funny as a PoC.

The large one has to be scaled perfectly to fit the tyre overlays when resetting RPA/RDC. Not there yet.

So you basically fetched the pictures, edited one and then were able to write it back permanently / override the existing one? So that means that theoretically you could NBT retrofit and edit in your E92?

Now that's dope. While I don't know how the extraction works exactly (yet) there might be a step-by-step guide in the future. I mean I can read your script partly but how would one even connect to the headunit?

Yes, it's permanent/persistent etc.

You can put in anything yes, but it's not the easiest to make it look good, scale and so on. As it stands, it's not perfect I still need to work on it. For my own project I'm just going with the stock CIC images that I posted earlier. I'll release the full instructions when done.

Connection is via telnet exactly like in CIC. However, you need to open it up to enable. Already described here: https://www.spoolstreet.com/threads/ipl-serial-telnet-and-ssh.9172/
