JSR and I flashed the tables that were identified in the post that @carabuser had, and it caused major major corrections even on our low boost map. Desensitized knock, and i guess jsr used the maps wrong or somethig happened because the car went into fuel mode 15 by 5K rpm.

Flashed back to another older low boost tune and it ran great, only one correction. Datazaps below:

Carabuser link KR defined tables, per JSR: https://datazap.me/u/sman217/fm15-new-knock-strategy?log=0&data=3-6-7-8-9-10-11-23
Flashed back to confirm it wasnt hardware: https://datazap.me/u/sman217/clean-51-low-boost-helix?log=0&data=3-6-7-8-9-10-11-23

The only useful table that was posted in that thread is the averaging constant, the rest can be ignored as they aren't useful.

i'll chalk my loss up to tuner fault. honestly, respect my tuner and dont want to tell him how to do his job + he said he didnt really like messing with those tables anymore. Think we are going to just abandon ship and go with port.

Those parameters aren't going to tell you anything other than that you have knock. They are really useful for tuning out false knock but you don't want to tune the knock out unless you have a built engine, you need to actually find the cause.
+1 Stay away from KR it has its uses but on a stock engine there is most likely a hardware issue. If all else was fine prior to the new turbos how does the engine run at idle? Smooth as glass? How is downpipe and clamp orientation since turbo install? Any vibrations throughout the rev range? Is it possible something is touching on the frame? Have you done a compression/leak down test?

how’s your pcv routed. Is it connected back into the rear turbo inlet? Also how new are your motor mounts? If your helix is causing the issues I’d assume that it would be very loud and you’d hear some funny noises out of it. But I recommend you take a helix brace off for one drive. I remember hearing that it sometimes caused corrections because of the placement.

I know you said "don't ask about octane" but I didn't see anything addressed other than we're running E50. You also mentioned you have tried high and low boost and high and low timing, but too low of timing can be just as bad as too high and cause high EGTs.

When I was running just E40, I would get some timing corrections unless I ran a good octane booster. I used Klotz, which they say does not contain MMT or lead to achieve higher octane. If you're running pump E50, you might consider adding some octane boost to see if the timing corrections reduce (at the higher timing and boost levels). I also had much better luck with less timing corrections when running Ignite E98 and blending to E60, but the E40 with octane boost was always the cleanest.

If you mixed leaded gas with the ethanol, that can have a detrimental effect. I know on FB there was someone that was doing that and argued up and down that it was great, but there are SAE studies that have shown that lead can have a detrimental effect and cause increased knock sensitivity when mixed with alcohol based fuels.

OP, just happened across this thread again. I was curious if you ever got this resolved?
i swapped to port injection. I actually am still having fuel mode 15 issues with the car. Its liking the port though, and we do like the reflex. corrections are better with port, i am working with shoup to reslve issues. As of tonight, the car has gone 5.95 60-130 on 26 psi with these TPC's. i will update this thread whenever we get some sort of conclusion with the car.

You probably have a leaking injector in bank 1. PI or DI.
At 18.73 the afr in bank 1 is 190.71 and in bank 2 is 234.95 although both should be 234.95 when the engine is not supposed to get fuel. And that bank 2 afr is not completely smooth when the gas pedal is off. Compare to the log you posted first. I had the same thing. Cyl 3 injector leaked like a fire hose and cyl 6 a little. Today the postman brought me two new injectors so I can see how the corrections and afrs change.
The car did run really bad at times and sometimes well because of that injector fault, so I thought something else was broken. I think the 3.injector broke during WOT.
