You have a cost breakdown if one wanted to switch to dct?I'm asking cause may want to do this if/when my auto trans goes.
Its a lot, just depends on where you get the parts and who does the labor. I'm doing a guide at some point. I've got some parts for sale that people will need, shifter, etc.

Dam,well its either this, manual,LS Trans swap or rebuild auto trans, guess in time there might be alternatives like the Single turbos that have come about.

Pretty sick. Is the diff ratio a bit too high for turbo?

This is D mode, D5 setting shifting :) 0.11sec shifts in D mode

I'm having problems logging M mode shifts due to traction issues at WOT. The logs look funky. I might have to do a highway pull to get good M mode shift logs. But FYI M mode M6 with DSC off is yielding anywhere from a 0.07sec shift to a 0.10sec shift. The higher gears shift quicker, the lower gears (1-2, 2-3) seem to be a bit slower, but once you hit 3-4, and especially 4-5 you're seeing easy sub 0.10sec times.

More than speed change time I would be interested in delay from paddles input or from kick down. Or skipped gears times (5->2). I guess I should do a M3 testdrive to get the real feel.

It is achieving those short speed times by dumping the clutch quicker, so the engine inertial torque goes to the wheels. It can be beneficial to the point you lose traction due to that additional torque. That is probably the reason they have longer times for lower gears.

So I wonder, what are the benefits/side effect of shorter M3 shifts. Longer shift is not necessarily bad thing if control honours input torque changes during the shift (which non-M DCT unfortunately does in very limited manner) while still maintaining constant output torque (for comfort and smoothness on the track).

I'm assuming this is a 335is correct? what's the list of all parts required to convert it?
