N54 DCT 1/4 mile

2010 135i DCT
Just had a last minute trip to the drag strip after fitting some mfactory axles on my 135i. car left on little less than 9 psi on launch at 3500. drove the car 500 miles round trip so i didnt stay on 2step longer than a second or else i wouldve been launching on 20 psi. Car is DCT swapped full weight 135i with m3 software. Custom tuned by Jason @Pure_evil_tuning. hopefully hitting 10s next track day.

COngrats on the time regardless. Not sure on the fastest quarter for a DCT. I know there was another guy here that did 138MPH but the ET wasnt great
Im glad you sorted the clutch slip and she’s going well.

Single turbo 335is
I went 11.0 @138.46 off idle rolling into it boost by gear skipped 3rd gear no boost in 5th either. I have trapped more before on other pass bad et though. Full weight 3850 with me in it 335is on a way smaller 6266 on 28psi. I drive 2 hours plus each way to the track on 15” bias ply tires as well.

Nicely done! Your trap of 139.72mph probably is the fastest N54 DCT unless it can be proven otherwise.

Get your 60' time down to 1.7s and you would be getting mid to low 10s times.

You went 11.024, and @rominum went 11.004, so he has you beat on E.T. and also mph from best mph slip. Quicker in the 1/8 as well. All the other stuff sounds like excuses. :p But maybe he has an 8 bolt instead of a 6 bolt...

its a 6 bolt since its a 2010 😁 i guess i got him there too. he claims all these things and i have no problem saying hes got better times or mph as long as i can see the time slips lol

I know @pure_evil_tuning was one of the first I’d heard of getting some boost building off the line. Have you got that 2 step working ?

Launch control does not seem to work at the track for me. I just remove all traction control and hammer down.

I have m3 shifter so its basically 4k launch with traction all the way off. DCT 2step that builds boost so i dont bog

Today we took our 2011 BMW 335is shop car out to the track today and got kicked out again but for good until we have a cage. Track prep was non existent so we spun bad and cut 2.0 60’ when it should of been 1.5’s so affected the time badly. Pretty simple set up 6266bb gen 2 boost by gear 1-2nd 10psi 3rd 25psi 4-5th 27.5psi. Makes 650-660whp at 27.5psi. Full weight 3,850lb with driver. 15” Mickey thompson bias plys, we drive the car there and back every time. Built 7 speed dct trans. We let off all passes but 1 and even then spun most of the way. Car has a lot more in it as we aren’t even at 30psi and still full weight. Goal is to run 9’s full weight.https://youtu.be/y3AKcd-TRp4

Ever heard of NHRA probably not but they got this thing called rules you should look it up. 9.99 et or 135mph and you need a cage. Sorry my track follows the law and I didn’t wanna be kicked after 1 pass. Sad a full weight 335 can keep up with a light 1 series with a bigger turbo.
