N54 auto to dct swap help!

I recently completed A dct swap into my E90 n54 but have 2 codes that seem to be my last issue. the car is coded and the shifter works great but the trans is in limp mode due to 2 codes I assume because of wiring in the trans harness i had to re pinning my auto trans harness because At the time i didn’t have the 335is harness and attempted to make that auto harness work..

I successfully swapped over the Dsc module and Dsc sensor and coded that to the Car.

The swap came complete with shifter with all appropriate modules connectors, n55 dct trans, n55 dct diff etc..THE ONLY THING I DIDNT HAVE WAS THE HARNESS. which i did attempt to reppin my auto one but i think it’s causing the issue..

I went ahead and just bought a 335is harness and it arrived a day ago and am in the process of installing it. I’m hopping it was an incorrect wiring issue and that this OEM harness fixes my issue. I am in the process of installing the harness since i have to drop the trans to reach the connector.. I’m posting the codes that where present before the installation of 335is harness below... any insight is greatly appreciated..I don’t mind sharing contact info. I’m so close to completing the swap!!

I see shift paddle code. I remember there being difference between the M3 paddles and the 335is, but are the normal 6AT paddles the same as the 335is?

When I swapped to M3 paddles I had to take them apart and use the metal paddle part but RETAIN my 335is paddles... is this a similar situation for you?

Yeah I remember there is a wiring difference

I connected the New OEM 335is harness I will update probably Saturday or late night Friday when i get s battery hooked up

As far as i know harness is dct straight to dme. I had a buddy complete the swap and swears that the paddles won’t cause an issue if working or not (as his are still not wired to this day) So i figured the other codes are unrelated to paddles. I haven’t connected a battery yet. I work all day today so I’ll update tomorrow!

Installed Oem 335is harness and no change with codes. Will be waiting for my buddy to come by with his computer this afternoon and see how that goes with winkfp

might be steering angle sensor , older e90's probably have a different model for that. i have the 09 variant so it might be able to send the right signal from paddles to cas/shifter

Omar may be onto somethin; the paddles have various wiring schemes through the years and this could be a cause.

Have a look in Newtis and compare yours with 09 onwards. From 09 onwards had DCT from factory.
