N53 injector on N54

I was wondering what the differences are between the N53 and N54 injectors.
Apart from the part. no. and color, the dimensions are the same so practically it should be possible to install these.

Let me know if someone did some testing.

While also DI the N53 is NA so I wonder if the output of the injectors would be in the same ballpark.

Are n53 injectors cheaper or something I don't see what the attraction to use them would be?

The N53 and N54 injector are physically the same from the outside and from an installation point of view.

I've asked some information at a injector cleaning shop. They said the output / flow rate of the N53 injectors is not the same as the N54 ones.

But the output of the N54 injectors is overkill so it might be possible to install the N53 ones.

Are the N53 also piezo injectors? Would be a real improvement for alternate dme options if there is a non piezo injector that fits the same hole.
