Does that read as a mosfet issue? No leaks or issues around head and injectors. Weird to me that it’s a whole bank that is bad. Any extra thoughts that I should plan for?

I’ve replaced 5 coils past year. If it’s injectors I’m screwed. Can't trade it in and life is going well enough to buy 800$ worth if injectors right now

Ha.... That is totally not what I meant to write.

I was trying to say that I think MOSFETs are the correct first choice.

It’s a mosfet issue. Same thing happened to my car last week. Pull the DME, buy the mosfets, and take it to a tv repair shop. The shop should be able to do it if they are competent. At least that is a start.

Also the mosfets going bad usually will take out injectors or coils so be prepared for that but theres no way to know until you fix the mosfets first

Id recommend switching to an msd81 dme instead of replacing mosfets. The mosfets will go bad again down the road and leave you stranded again. Been there done that.
Agreed, but that is also $500. Albeit, better than $800, just trying to give a cheaper solution.

If you change 6 mosfet you should be fine, just check for codes after you replace them, any tv or computer repair next to you should be able to do it cheap 100 bucks max with parts depending on your local electric shop.

I drove about 200 yards or do and let it idle for a few trying to clear codes on MHD. I have 2 used coils I can use left that I bought from salvage. Fingers crossed this come out cheap for me. Every time a service issue happens I’m farther and farther from an IC and downpipes. I need to search for an appliance/tv repair place, if not I’ll do it myself

Yep! I bought my hot air station just for my cluster VIN/miles programming. Then had it available for my MOSFETs.

I have a buddy here in Indiana that will do the MOSFETs in his shop if anyone wants to send it in.
