I've used Tasker to launch MHD too, but not launch the monitoring. Were you able to use Tasker to launch monitoring, if so how did you do that?

Yep. It was a pain but you use a paid tasker plugin called autoinput. Then you have to program it to click on certain spots of the screen. It will replicate that when it boots up.

Yeah it is kind of finnicky to be honest. It wasn't working for me until I paid for the full version of tasker and autoinput. And even then 1/5 times it won't load the monitoring screen. There are some delay settings that I haven't really played with much so I may just need to configure it better.

Just curious why didn't you get a 8.8" TFT LCD touch screen in there instead using CIC's screen and bluetooth keyboard?

Got a link to a screen that fits? How do you suggest you get an android signal to the screen and switch between that and the CIC as well as handle touch input? Remember, I'm trying to keep a clean install, no visible boxes, wires, switches, etc.

There are a lot of 8.8" TFT LCD touch screen with LVDS output.. You can probably use an LVDS to HDMI inverter for the android box... I am not sure tho if there is an inverter that supports any 8.8" TFT LCD screen.. But if you get an android board\box that has LVDS output, than everything would be much easier IMO..

I'm not following you. You're saying that my xcarlink method is more difficult or my AVIN android screen is more difficult? Because I did buy an 8.8" touch screen with android built into the screen, that is the link I posted.
