setting boost target modifier to 1.0 for the upper range and tweaking the wgdc base and adder has resolved the lower target issue and most of my throttle closures.
Hi mate. My friend just bought his 335i Euro I8, and his full flash took 13 minutes (map write 55sec) and my 335i US I8 usually takes 23 min full write (map write 2 min). He uses my dcan+otg. But he has Samsung, while mine is Poco f3. How come? )))
Flashes take a lot longer with cheap cables. Does your friend have a proper bimmergeeks cable or wifi adapter?
He used my cable. Its not cheap chinese, and its not bimmergeeks, but it has original internals FT232RQ inside much faster than chinese one and for him it takes only 55 secs to do map write, while mine takes 2 mins with the same cable and otg only difference is he has Samsung S10, and mine is Poco F3. His car is 335i 2008 EU, mine 2007 US.
Guess it's one of a super license features. Believe it's artificially reduced flash time for those who just have a flasher license.

One cable is a basic eBay cable, the second is a bimmergeeks pro one and the third is the bimmergeeks expert gold plated one and the cheap eBay cable always takes way longer (almost twice the time) to flash whereas both bimmergeeks ones are identical in flash time. Same story even with xHP and BMW standard tools.
I don't know how good your phone is but that isn't usually a limiting factor. I'd be shocked if an ebay cable can do a map change in 50seconds, more likely that's incorrect.

USB3 vs. your USB2? Could also be controller, drivers or who knows what else. Run some benchmarks and compare. There's no diff between my S7 and S22, both USB3.x.

That's crazy. Gotta be drivers, controllers or some setting, I don't know what else would cause such large differences.

Well Id suspect the OTG adapter then. My friend has a cheap Samsung type-c otg adapter. The black one. Whats your otg? Mind sharing a picture? And what are your licenses?
