So I'm gonna be going flash only fairly shortly and in doing that I'm gonna be losing my jb4 Bluetooth and gauge tablet connectivity I have permanently mounted..

I've gotta say this is my biggest upset about it all... I've just grown use to looking up at them I know I'm gonna need the mhd gauges.

So show me some pics and products you guys have used to clean it all up! To not have cables running around the car and such ;)

Thanks the flat obd cable is the one I have..didn't know if anyone found anything cleaner than that yet.. or simpler

I use the same scoshe magnet mount as well but have a 7in tablet dedicated to the car in the center. It's hard wited to a fuse for charging.

Hard wired to a fuse for charging huh? Im still looking for a charging solution. Does it charge pretty well? Also how do you get it to charge and use USB OTG cable simultaneously?

Hard wired into my CIC. OBD connection run thru lower dash so the OBD port cover is on and nothing exposed.
I just press programmed #6 button and it brings them up. MHD now opens directly to gauges and Android device opens MHD on start up. Start up power comes from fuse box when I insert key.

I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest possible way you can do this.

The other options are xcarlink and Avin.

Check both of these threads. The Avin is a touch solution and cleaner with wires. The xcarlink isn't touch but you can run a fast android stick, the Avin's built in Android is shitty. Also the Avin fitment can require a good bit of cutting on the back panel behind the screen, for iDrive users.

There is a non-idrive version for logic7 but apparently the fitment is not world class. Apparently fits about the same as the others that have come before it like the eonon.

Does anyone know if I was to go flash only and AIC 6 flash only and set the jb4 to map 4 I could keep it for logging and gauges only. Basically keep the jb4 for gauges and logging only but have it completely out of the way otherwise. Essentially a very expensive gauge solution

I have the Xcarlink. Works great not only for MHD Gauges but I use it to display my Escort 360 Radar Detector. I mounted the detector in the back of the car and bluetooth to my phone. Then I mirror the screen to the Xcarlink and presto it's a super stealth sytem.
