Max power on 93oct with upgraded turbos/single turbo?

Hi all,

Out of curiosity, what is the highest whp you guys have seen on n54 for 93 oct only fueling (no meth, no e-mix) with upgraded twins and/or single turbo? Any dyno graphs anybody can share? I understand e-mixes make more power, this question is for knowledge gathering around 93 only builds.

Any thoughts?

I think given how variable dynos are, the best metric would be best 60-130 dragy times.

Thanks for chiming in, I agree with you on 60-130 being a more reliable metric.

Full disclosure, there is a discussion around this in an n55 M2 forum, but not a ton of data outside of some dynos off various pure turbo offerings. Since n54 is so similar, and has many upgraded twins and big single turbo builds, I'm hoping to collect some more data points from 93 on larger more capable turbo setups.

Highest in recent memory for twins on 93 was Blaster3500's GF setup, 582whp

RB GF Dyno Results- 93 and e85- 681whp

I had a chance to get my car on the Dyno today with the new RB GF turbos and am extremely pleased with the results! All pulls were done on a dynojet in 4th gear. Also these are not glory pulls and should be easy results to replicate. 93 octane @ 18-19psi - 516whp...

did 625whp on straight 93oct @ just 18-19psi back in 2019, Its in my big build thread... Couldn't go further at the time because rail pressure was crashing, but a lot more is possible I can assure you.

A mate with Pure Stage 2 Hi-Flows on his N54 with Tesco 99RON makes about 490whp (not on a DynoJet) at around 24psi to 25psi.

Based off a speedo video I have of my car vs another car that dyno’d at 570whp I would say around 600whp is the limit on 93 with no overdrive kit or meth.

I’ve only ever been street tuned

I ran a 8.6 a few years ago on 93 and upgraded turbos. I think boost was 20 psi
