Has anyone tapped the MAP sensor signal to run a methanol controller? Not the T-MAP sensor.

I have both, Snow Performance stage 2 controller and the AEM unit.
Thinking of it to spary a little bit of DI Water to control my IATs. I am in California. The massive intercooler does a great job outside but when its 115 degrees out it can't help much.
Also have the Idea of using the output to the pump to trigger the 2nd LPFP relay to activate that pump.

The Manifold MAP has a better boost awareness since when the TB closes it already sees vacuum where is the Chargepipe T-MAP still sees boost.

anyone can confirm the wire in the DME for the MAP signal?

Just use a hobbs switch in the charge pipe. Mine kicks on at 13psi, turns on my 2nd 450 and meth injection as well.

I was hopping for a cleaner install, but yep, seems like a hobbs switch is a good way to go.

The Snow Performance controller can read boost. Might use that as a "Boost Switch" and just tap the manifold for one more "bov line" and route it to the controller. This way it reads post TB boost. Should help with the low pressure fuel spikes when you let off or shift.

For hobb switch location, cant you just tap after mac solenoid(same line that goes to turbo) as oppose to charge pipe, if you don't have anymore bungs available?

Boost reference for things like AIC for PI or meth injection should come from the intake manifold. Using a pre-TB source will give fuel surges on throttle closures due to the temporary boost spike.

Shouldnt the delay be negligible if Bov is set up properly? Not for boost reference but as far as a 13 or 15 psi Hobbs switch.

no,
the TMAP is before the BOV, and it reads instantly which is faster than any BOV can actuate to release pressure when the throttle closes.

Thank you guys for confirming this for me.

One more question, would I be able to Y into BOV line, I have a 1/4 one. Or would the BOV diaphram moving mess with the pressure reading significantly?

Use the stock, small vacuum/boost nipple on the intake manifold directly behind the throttle body as your boost signal to the meth controller.

Drill/tap the intake for a brass barbed fitting for a dedicated, larger line to your BOV.
