As the title says, I need 6x index 12s. I did a bandaid fix for my misfires and installed 2 index 9s on the cylinders that were misfiring about 4 months ago, but now i'm having issues again with fuel in the oil, oily exhaust smoke and idling issues. Not nearly as bad as it was prior, but the onset is confirmed. Done with this shit. Give me a reasonable price and the cash is yours. I picked this beast up for 20k hoping that I could just jump into mods and tuning, but of course, not the case. Fellow N54 enthusiast needs some love!

Thanks for your time, folks!

I have four good used index 12s. They just need new seals etc, as you always do when buying used injectors.

I replaced them with brand new ones thinking it would solve an issue I had with stfts flatlining post shift, but the issue stayed the same, so they didn't need replacing after all.

Anyway, they will be shipping from china where my car is. Send me an offer. I only have four left.

How much are you willing to spend? I have a couple backup sets.

Are they new or used? As long as they're in good condition, I'm willing to give em a shot. Pics? Also, price depends on condition and I'm willing to push out a decent amount for em. Shoot me an offer :)

I appreciate the offer, but I'd need all 6 since I have index 9s in right now. I'll take em for a reasonable price if I don't get a good offer for all 6 and get the other 2 from FCP. Highly appreciate the help so far, folks!

3 will get you started. 9s in one bank and 12s in the other.

Yeah, I thought about that. Only issue is that cylinder 2 and 6 are the ones having issues, but true, I could knock out 50% of the issue that way.

I'd buy all six from FCP and consider the lifetime warranty as insurance, especially since you are going to mod. They don't care. I know ... it sucks ... these cars need a healthy dose of maintenance on the path of modding, etc. My Z4 got new pre-cat 02 sensors at 28k as well. It was well overdue at that mileage for the carbon cleaning. I also preventatively replaced the factory vacuum lines with high temp silicone lines and aluminum T fittings. Highly recommend you do both high and low side PCV and replace the valve cover gasket. And given it is a Z4, look at changing the two two top relays (orange) by the battery - they take a beating and can burn up. I don't know what your experience level is with these cars so I may have just stated all obvious things. Drop us a photo of your car - great buy at $20k!

You have a good point about FCP's lifetime warranty. I might just go that route. Funds are a little tight this month, especially with Christmas coming up and me slacking on buying gifts lol! I just know that the fuel is going to eat away at my piston rings over time and I'm just nervous about it. Maybe I'll just make FCP injectors a priority. As for everything else you said, I am a bit new to the Z4, so any info that helps me not fuck my car up is highly appreciated! I've been doing countless research on the N54 and Z4, but there's so much.. I'm already in the midst of getting the M18 valve cover to replace the stock P.O.S. plastic one (wtf BMW), so I'll be replacing the gasket when it comes in the mail. Any further info that you could relay would be amazing! I'll snap some pics as soon as I can today! Thanks for the most helpful post

Sure. Check the build thread in my signature. Lots of info there.

Will do! As for the pics, here there are.. Was a bit hesitant on the color, but it's definitely grown on me. I'll eventually get it painted gunmetal w/ black wheels after I get my FMIC, charge pipe, catless downpipes and MHD flash. After your post, I'll be doing those things as well prior to cosmetics. Your info really helped!

Assuming you've got three index 9's you can combine into one bank you can just move them and recode them and then get three index 12's.

In 2016 I paid 18k cash for my 2009 E93 with 52k miles and it was a good deal, I did a lot of searching. Black/Black 2009+ E93 was fairly specific.Today, it has 60k miles and in just as good of condition, not a single door ding. My seats aren't wearing down or stretched, interior isn't fading or breaking down. Honestly it feels like it's more like a 35 or 40k mile vehicle. There's some stuff you just can't fix by being cheap up front otherwise you'd be replacing every interior bit.

All index 9. I have no idea of the condition of the other 2, so I'll probably just yank em all and put in the 3 best into 1 bank and get 3 index 12s from FCP for the moment. Very nice on your e93 find! Takes time to find the right car for your desires which is always the smart way to go for an XX,XXX car. I waited for months to find the right deal for the e89. Mine was pure luck. Was posted 2 minutes before I saw it and the guy already had 16 calls. 5 people wanted to come from out of state for it. I was luckily 30 mins away and took it then and there. Has all black interior which was a necessity to me. Body, interior, everything is literally in perfect condition. Very happy with it.

Wife and I drove out of state to see our E89 and bought it right away.

Went back a week later for some agreed upon maintenance and they told us someone flew in unannounced the same day to get it! Suppose they wanted to do a surprise inspection of the car but we beat them to it

If someone has an extra set of index 12s, I'll do that for now and FCP later. Finances are tight and need them changed ASAP.

Hopefully someone managed to help you out.

FCP is a great option, and they ship to the UK (great for me)
