I have been self tuning on my own from my original BIN to learn. Mods are:
2008 335i - 6 speed manual
IJE0S
N20 TMAP
GC Lites (v1)
91 octane
VTT Inlets/Outlets
VRSF DPs
ETS 5" FMIC
FuelIt Stage 1 (needs to go)
AFE Airbox

I think I am hitting a limit here. The reported torque is pegged at 700nm. I have raised load, added more timing, etc and seems like it wont go over that reported torque figure. Virtual dynos have looked the same from around 168 load up to 172 with any timing corrections, with everything seeming to stay right at 700nm reported. I have rescaled my L2T tables and have around 530ft/lbs at 160 load, which 700nm is 516ftlbs at 166 load. Feel like there should be plenty of room there. I tried bumping the 160 load row by 30ft lbs too and no difference.

I checked the requested torque limit driver table and raised it from 600ft/lbs to 700 with no change. Torque Limit Cap is 737.6ft/lbs.

I know I can add WGDC to base at the higher MAF request or to the adder table, but seems odd to me that boost is capping at 16.6 in the upper RPMs. This has to be a limit table right?

I dumb here and the L2T tables are just outputting whatever I put into them as torque output in the log? And just used mainly for AT people for reporting torque to the TCU?

May i ask what issues you are experiencing?
None from a driving perspective. I was just very suspicious that the calculated torque seemed to bounce around 700nm and when looking at the cells in L2T I think it should have been higher. Maybe I dont have an issue and just need to continue to raise load and make progress.

If you don´t have any issues i would probably not take to much attention to the L2T tables.

How is your l2t scaled ?

See attached. All 3 tables the same. What I can't tell is if this is actually a limiter table or a a lookup table to report estimated torque. My scaling is in ft/lbs.

IMO, rescale the tables to fit your needs better. That jump from 160 to 220 is just too big, uncontrolled.

Ya, I agree with you. The slope of the upscale is not remotely the same pre-160 than post. I think when I did that I thought the max value was 1000nm (737.6) but after looking at the XDF that is wrong. I can make it better, but still unsure if it even matters for manual or not. Is there an internally modeled torque calc that is compared to the values in this table to determine if a limit should be applied?

So confirmed L2T is just a lookup table. It doesnt limit anything that I can tell. Reported torque is not 800nm+, so obviously I am overreporting it. New log is below. No throttle cuts on this pull, but still more work to do. VD showed 440whp/450wtq. Stock boost pull showed 275whp/282wtq, so feel like it has to be in the ballpark. Will keep working.
