Good evening, everyone. I can't think of another forum where I might find some information about what's happening with the N54B30.
My vehicle is an E92 LHD that was originally a 325i with an N53B30 engine. I got an N54B30 engine from an E93 RHD automatic. I did the engine swap and found a manual transmission from a local 335i. I had to extend the engine wiring harness.
Currently, the car has no exhaust, only the downpipes installed. I haven't reset the DME for the manual conversion, nor have I reset the throttle or battery adaptations.
Now, onto the problem: the vehicle is throwing heating faults for both post-cat O2 sensors.
Idle is somewhat stable, but the AFR for bank 1 and bank 2 is all over the place, oscillating wildly from 0 to 235. The STFT is doing the same(from -30% to 30%).
Tomorrow, I'll rule out any issues with the lambda sensor wiring.
Any suggestions? The car is undriveable.
