If you want to max out that turbo you will need E85 & PI. The PFS POD/Helix knock off will not get you there on DI & E85. A PI spacer or manifold w/ PI is the solution.

Make sure when you get it coated they don't coat the 02 ports.

Let me know the lead time on the ATM catback.

Idk I pushed 33 psi out of a 6266 with the helix not that I would recommend it but its possible to put down good power with it

Wow that design does not look good. You should have went with a speedtech manifold. 2 and 5 look to route the exhaust into the log at the opposing angle of flow.

Also dump instead of routing back into exhaust? meh

Not trying to rain on your parade, but aside from being one of the worst vendors on the platform, JPWorkz has no idea wtf he's doing.

Open dump is purely preference, I honestly don't see much wrong with the manifold same thing as doc race dr700

I wanted open dump even if I went with DOC or Speedtech it's my preference since I don't daily the car so it would be fun going to a screaming single N54 when I do drive it :)

The manifold looks similar to the DOC race though. Which part of it do you not like?

DOC race is also trash. He copied a junk design because it's easy, instead of good.

I use speedtech as an example of a good bottom mount manifold. You have individual runners to right up near the flange. There are no flow issues. There are no massive velocity drops as the exhaust hits the log, there's a dump pipe back into the downpipe, etc.

Wierd thing is I seen more people pop motors on speedtech kits than I'd say any other kit. Is it because its a well priced kit and rookies get there hands on it and have issues? Also I've heard speedtech kits basically only work with adv 02 sensors to get them to run right

I looked into this kit, but how come we don't see so many out there though?
At what rate do we start to see flow issues? How can I have my manifold tested? I’m not trying to break numbers and records I just got a single turbo kit so I don’t have to deal with junk aftermarket twins blowing up all the time and this kit happened to fit my budget.

If your not gonna be pushing above 700 whp I don't see an issue. When you start getting into that region exhaust gasses start fighting each other to get out of the manifold. Smoother transitions would definitely be better but I don't see it not making good power

I don’t plan on going over 700whp for a kill map if even that depending on which fuel route I take. As far as a weekend tune I don’t think I’ll need more than 600whp to have fun.

What did you put down?

What E content? I can't imagine it kept up with full E85?

Yeah so just throw spool and efficiency out the window to save how much on a cheap manifold?

*shrug* this platform is full of people who would rather save a trivial amount of money instead of doing things the right way. Most of the owners are uneducated on basic principles and the vendors are predatory.

Cylinders 1 and 6 are the only ones which have a smooth radius. Not only is the exhaust charge from the rest of them slamming directly into the far side of the log, it's also stepping up in runner size, which reduces gas velocity as it expands.

The o2 sensor placement is also poor.

And what's with the dung on the intake side charge pipe? You know its bad when your vendor can't afford a bead roller :(

It's bad design all around, unfortunately.

Was on e60 with the ol dentist tune. Rail was like 1500 at 33 psi didn't push any further than that. Id geuss it made 700 to the wheels or close to that never got around to dynoing that setup. I hated the helix but it will perform a bit

Not everyone wants to spend 5-6 k on the cream of the crop kits when most of these cars are worth not much more than 10-15k
