Need dimensions from speedtech downpipe

I bought a used Speedtech bottom mount single turbo kit and the previous owner somehow stretched out and cracked the flex pipe part of the down pipe. No idea how and I can't get it to collapse back. I was hoping someone could get a measurement of how long the flex section is from weld to weld so I can weld in a new one at the right length. I've emailed speedtech multiple times to try and purchase a new one but haven't had any response.

That's a fairly common issue with SpeedTech's bottom-mount kits through age. My friend here in town dealt with the same exact issue. The part # of the flex pipe he ordered and welded on is Summit Racing's SUM-643063. Hope this helps

No problem, his was tig-welded right on without any further modifications and for several months now + several long cruises to car shows / meets out of town / state, no leaks or any other issues that he's made us aware of

Looks like that Summit one is 321 ss? That should hold up well, I wonder what kind of stainless Speedtech uses for the bellows portion?

I agree. As far as the material SpeedTech uses, I'm sure it's some type of stainless steel whether it's 304 or similar.

I just replaced mines a few months ago. The bellow completely cracked away from the downpipe resulting in a huge exhaust leak.

I got the new flex coupling on Amazon:

Worked out just fine and the fabricator was happy with the quality of the bellow. SS304

Jeff said it was due to excessive anti-lag/2 step. I think it was just age as KTB mentioned earlier. Plus my kit was one of the very first a few years ago. I'm sure there's been improvement and revisions on the newer kits.

Good luck! It should be a simple fix
