I posted a little about my car in the new member section, but I figured I'd start a build thread. I bought my e92 a little over a month ago, with a few minor mods. Well, as you might expect, it had some issues. Since purchasing the car, I have replaced the charge pipe (BMS with Tial BOV), repaired the vacuum lines, and just today replaced all 6 injectors with new index 12s. Current goals are 400ish to the wheels "reliably". I am pretty sure my wastegates are shot, so I am planning to pick up some used turbos to rebuild.
Current mods:
Catless DPs
Relocated DCIs
BMS charge pipe and BOV
JB4 on map 5 with a BEF

Currently, a front suspension refresh is high on the list of necessary repairs before I make more power.

One mod i highly recommend is a XHP stage 3 transmission flash with a trans refresh, Transforms the car.
+1 times a million. I used to hate driving my car because of the slow, sluggish, reluctant to downshift stock transmission. I pined away for my old manual. Got xHp and now I love my transmission, and am actually now glad I have AT vs. MT.

I've been looking at xhp. Apparently my car has some type of transmission flash, cause I get codes for it. Oh, and yes @Torgus , I would say I'm pretty handy. The only things I've really had other people repair on my cars would be 1) a transmission because I don't have a lift, and 2) AC recharge cause I couldn't get the system to take freon. For anything else I'm a certified YouTube mechanic.

So, it's update time. The car was rough starting and misfiring with mixture codes, particularly on cylinder 6. I pulled the engine cover and found a variety of injector indexes, from 9 down to 2, as well as an unlabeled one. I ended up buying a full set of Siemens Index 12s from Amazon for about $600! Brand new! Once installed, my cylinder 6 misfires were gone. However, I was having some other misfires. I figured I would replace spark plugs and coils. Today I installed a full set of Dinan coils and NGK Iridium 2 step colder spark plugs.

5 out of 6 plugs were Bosch 3 prong, while the other was an NGK single prong. Needless to say, the misfires are gone.
Anyways, my hpfp is strong, my lpfp is strong, my transmission is shifting great... And I'm running on 1 1/2 turbos. They spool late, and won't make more than 13 psi. My front wastegate also rattles like crazy. I could just do OEM replacements or rebuild OEM turbos... But where's the fun in that?

I guess I'm going to be a guinea pig for CTS Stage 2 500s. The current plan is to get it tuned on 93 and see where it gets me. After all, it is just a daily.

Oh, and slightly less interesting news includes ordering an M Sport rear bumper and diffuser to replace my damaged one, as well as refinishing some style 189s to put on the car. Short backstory: my dad bought them from a customer for a steal, but heavily curb rashed. He now needs new rims for his E46, and figures the square setup on my E92 would be perfect for his xi wagon. Currently my car has cheap 235 rear tires. Can anyone say spin?

Oh wait, there's more. I put a new windshield and fresh brakes on it and had it aligned.

Wow, $600 for a full set of index 12's? I'm not n54, but from reading threads aren't those going for like > $2k now?

Yeah, like $2400 from FCP. Now, they aren't BMW branded, but they are Siemens branded. I can find the link for anyone who's interested.

You know, this thread could have been split up into a bunch of clickbait threads. Index 12 injectors for $569, Dinan Coil review, and in a few weeks, Stage 2 Turbos for $1400? CTS turbo review.

I got the stage 2+’s. Just got my base map from Carabuser, starting off with 17psi I’m on Full E currently.

What lpfp do you have? Also, any dyno numbers or track times?
I used a Diy bucketless PFS kit. I have a 450 as my main and a 525 on a hobbs. I’m also using a PFS overdrive. No numbers yet, just did my first logs about a hour ago, feels way faster then my old 535

How was the install on the turbos? Does everything fit like OEM?

I have VRSF relocated inlets. If you get inlets go with the arm kit.
Edit: Depending on what you go with id recommend either Arm for relocated, or RB for stock location.

You know, there are good and bad parts to buying a used car from a private individual. I currently think the PO must have had anger issues he took out on some bolts. I just replaced the front hub assemblies, and I can guarantee those bolts were far beyond spec. Anyways, it should fix my growling bearings. Now I'm just waiting for my parts to come in. Btw, did anyone else with a Bimmergeeks cable get a message about errors in the cable? They're apparently sending me a new one now.
