Great suggestion! Now we can get some good technique sharing. Ive been stumped. I have mmp s3, every bolt on, pr coil kit, PI kit. Suspension, lsd, 315 35 r17 NTO5R drag radial. Light weight rims from apex.twisted tune at 30psi xhp stage 4 flash. And for my life cannot cut a 1.5. I cant launch under boost as i get a code for brake plausibility
Don't know if it would work but rig a toggle switch or even a momentary switch on the brake pedal signal wire to disable the signal from getting g to the computer when at the strip, or the line.

That sounds right. I just finished the wiring to add in a couple of line lock solenoids. I plan to engage build boost then de energize for launch. Your idea was a lot less work.

Manual car here, but I can't cut less than a 2.0 and I've done 15 passes on my Mickey Thompson ET Street Rs. Being single turbo doesn't help. Gonna try 2-step one of these days. I think a bias ply tire would let me get the 60ft down easier.

I was able to cut a 2.0 60ft on stock turbos with MPSS tires once or twice, but that was usually around 2.2 or 2.3.

I cant for life of me understand what's the issue with these cars. I've read sticking to stock rear springs is ideal. I get the dct thing I think but I just would think a good wrinkle wall tire would handle the shock from lc. Is it that you guys cant keep suspension and tires loaded I have never had an e92 at track so I dont know what the real issue is I feel like the n54 should have plenty of torque. If it is that cant really load up turbos and suspension maybe a small 50 shot would be ideal ? I've always been able to follow in footsteps with proven setups on other platforms I feel like their has to be something we are not seeing with why a few can cut good 60 fts and most are stuck above 2 sec.

I'd have to dig up 6y old pics of my slips that have long been in the trash...might be able to find some

I can't find any pics from my runs 7y ago...time flies. But here is a video of one of my 1.7sec 60' runs back in June of 2011. This was on a Proceed and was consistent as the driver. I had 4 or 5 runs that night all with 1.6-1.7sec 60' times. This car was sold back in 2012 and I'm waiting for PTE to rebuild my 6266 so I can try my new DCT setup as I'm curious if my M3 conversion really did what I think it should have.

Obviously most of the 1.6 or better 60fts are from autos, as it's easier to build boost on the line. What is the best 6MT 60ft? I think the best I've seen is a 1.7.

I'm surprised more people don't go with a small shot. Then again a full well thought out system is over a grand easily imo.

Ask your tuner to disable the brake and throttle together parameter in the flash. Then you won't get the code.

Good to its possible. Ive asked justing with Twisted tune if its doable. The problem is he is not very responsive. Replies take months.

I just saw him posting on another forum about some personal issues that came up. I'm sure he's catching up on emails now.

I'm on Eibach pro springs and Koni FSD shocks/struts ... I did the exact same times on stock suspension. Also ran the same times without LSD. But more consistent with the LSD now.

Going to track today. See how this plays out. Trans wasn't happy last outing.

These cars are assholes 11s on stock turbos with 2 sec 60s meanwhile 1.7 and high 12s it just makes no sense any other car a tenth in the 60 is good for 3 up top
