What is everyone doing for their fuel filters? What are the limits of the oem filter? Mine might just be old, but I'm seeing fuel pressure drop at 20psi with a pair of 450hp pumps.

What are you using for driver to passenger gas transfer? What are your line setups like in tank?
In tank plumbing is OEM.
I have a Walbro 535 and 450 on hobbs through OEM line to the OEM regulator, then AN lines to fuel filer, Ethanol sensor, then splits to HPFP and PI, then from PI, to FPR back to the tank.

Ive bypassed it in the past, ran a new corrugated line from the top of the venturi system to barbed bulkhead fitting that i drilled and installed on the factory fuel tank hat instead of it running into the oem fuel filter and then i ran a aeromotive fuel filter in line underneath the car, did me well at 700 whp

So you're running through the OEM filter and an additional filter?

I'm not sure which is more of a restriction, the oem venturi or the oem filter...

I think what I'll do is run two 535s, feed one through the oem venturi, merge to another line from the second pump, then out through some kind of a/n fitting on the passenger side. Let one pump feed the bucket venturi and the other pump the driver -> passenger side venturi

Fresh fuel pressure regulator/filter was a big improvement on my car.
Out of curiosity I have opened up the filter and it was full with dirt etc.
Deff caused some restriction.

Probably has this --> http://www.radiumauto.com/Fuel-Hanger-Surge-Tank-BMW-P1542.aspx
Terry bought a bunch for testing. Never used them and had them for sale $100 cheaper. They are all gone now I believe as they are backordered on his site (I has just going to pick one up finally).

Nice, if I still see any restriction with the stock feed line or filter, I may end up using that. Will keep the stock venturi in place then feed through that. Or I may just wait and see what PR comes out with.

yes that's it. my old pump is now just a lift pump with the stock venturi system still in place and functional. the radium tank is designed for 335i fuel tank, it doesnt quite fit my 135i fuel tank but i made it fit with some minor modifications. their website has some good system pictures showing how the oem and their system differ in operation.
