They can't be used on anything you would typically want to buy, except hand tools I think. No floor jacks, no earthquake impacts, etc.

Don't get me wrong, there are some really nice tools from hf as of late. I got the 1/2 earthquake compact impact, that thing is great. Lots of torque and light weight. The Bauer flashlight is a win as well.
