This thread is missing a few kits:

ADE Bottom mount
ACF Bottom Mount
CES Steed Speed Bottom mount
Multiple unannounced kits
There is also the FFTEC top and bottom but I don't know if they even make that still. Also the On3, but I don't consider it that great of a value personally.

you really think that CES kit will ever come to fruition?

The manifold is at Steedspeed for it's final revision to the wg placement, as we had said would most likely be needed when Steedspeed posted pictures of the rev3 version of the manifold, and then yes, we will finally have a kit available. We are very pleased with fitment now using the Gen2 3582r Garrett turbo that is rated at 850hp. Dyno numbers will be posted once we have the manifold back in it's final form, and then we will begin getting kits ready to roll out. We know the wait has been excruciatingly long, but after completely scrapping the EFR turbo version of the kit and almost going back to square one and 4 manifold revisions later, we finally have something we are happy with and worthy of the CES badge. For those of you still interested in this kit, it is going to happen, and will be a bolt on 600+ whp kit on pump and meth with upgraded lpfp kit in our street kit form. For those of you running PI and E85 or race fuels, whp numbers should easily hit 700whp to 800whp for built motor applications. We will offer a race version of the kit with the 1000hp gen2 3584r which should get to the 1000whp mark or close to it. During limited testing with the rev3 Manifold, we saw as much as 670 whp with ms109 and meth on the stock fuel system and dual 450 lpfp kit at 27-28 psi before running into spark issues on the stock coils. But we were handicapped losing the twinscroll effect due to having to modify the wg placement, so we are not posting any results until we get the final rev4 Manifold installed and tested on the Dyno. This is pushing it for reliability on a stock n54 motor, but we have tested the kit to this point so far to these whp levels, and it was done using a basic ots backend flash and jb4 with st firmware, so there is much room for improvement. We will offer our own software packages down the road as well, and will roll out these kits in hardware only form for now until our tuning packages are ready to be sold with the kits. More info will follow once the Manifold is back in our hands.

Going single scroll on an I6 car that comes with twins from the factory is a big downgrade IMO. If you consider that, the 8k price tag, and the fact that the Motiv team always seems to be too "busy" to respond to customers then you're better off going a different route.

As far as top mounts go, ACF has the best exhaust manifold design by far. Doc Race is also nice because of the availability and communication. The runners have crazy bends and are a bit long for my taste, but realistically it won't make a major difference.

If you want a bottom mount, ACF or wait for VTT. Payam's ACF bottom mount EFR spools faster than any single turbo I've ever seen. 400wtrq just after 3000rpm iirc. The VTT kit also looks 100% badass and it'll probably be priced very competitively.
Motiv doesn't spend time on the forums because they're all too busy with day jobs, family, tuning, building motors, cars, and kits, and constantly testing new things.

I'm going back to school for an MBA so it's been full steam ahead on preparing for that - I'm still around.

Actually, I'll be strapping the car down this coming weekend to see if we can get an even 700whp out of it. Fingers crossed.

Hope all is well man!
That's awesome man! You should snap some vid of the little 1er making some power.

IIRC the GTX3584rs is VBand inlet and outlet with no internal gate option on the turbine housing. Will this be one off single scroll?

Who builds the motors in house?

Nice, looking forward to see the complete kit, any idea when it will be available?

Not everything that requires time and effort is always done in house. You know this.

I have info from Speedtech. N54 kit will be available soon. Will have ewg, and price will be lower than n55.

I've been speaking to Speedtech since last year about this and have kept the lid on the can, but since you put it out there, yes...I think anyone considering a kit should certainly wait for this one and see what it becomes, I think the price might surprise people. Then again, their N55 kit is already cheap so if its cheaper that kind of gives you an idea. If I bought a kit right now, I'd buy this one. Their E chassis N55 kit is only 3800 and that includes an EFR turbo.

and also I know there is an Speedtech stage 3 kit for N54 working perfect with EFR7670 / 8374 internal wastegate turbos.

Do not expect an EFR turbo. To be honest, the EFR is a lot of hype even though they make pretty graphs. Great for people who need extreme transient response but basically over 3k rpm and the GTX series is the way to go IMO, it even performs better on the top end. The EFR is a bulky, hunk of a turbo that causes the kit designed around it have compromises.

Exactly. Efr needs 30+ psi. No good for n54 high compression engine, especially with oem rods and pistons.

Same applies to VM. They used to ask that much for their top mount and recently reduced their prices, showing how much profit was built in. So I won't buy from them out of principle.

Don’t forget these guys were one of the first if not the first to the market with the top mount. They were the ones who took the time for proper design, testing, fitment, etc. Lots of hours and wasted materials getting it right. They need to recoup costs.

Anytime vendors develop something on this platform the copycats immediately jump in and price cut. Investing in R+D on this platform does not offer very good ROI for vendors. Hence the reason we are where we are.
