HELP Injector Coding

Having some weird issues that I honestly can't figure out. Here are the details:

07 335i Was Kline MSD80, when that DME fried I got a new MSD81 from the dealer.

Coded the DME, and the injectors without issues. Ran that for about 2 years until my motor blew.

Everything is back together, car has been running without any codes, lights or issues. JB4 and MHD Flash for Single turbo.
I take it to my BMW Tech who normally does my coding. He connects the ISTA program and it comes up with weird things...

Shows my car is a 528i E39 model with M52 motor which is obviously not possible.

Unplugged the Jb4, Flashed back to stock using MHD app. Still comes up with the same results E39 528i...
Any ideas?

You said you coded the new DME when you swapped out the MSD80. Maybe the DME's coding got scrambled somehow and now reads as a completely different model. I'm sure you just can't unplug a MSD80 and plug in a MSD81 in its place without coding it right? Or am i wrong about this?

Nope. Nothing has been replaced

The really weird thing is it pulls up the model from the VIN and your VIN is pulling up as E90 335i in realoem. Is the VIN in the picture your correct VIN #?

The MSD81 is coded, ive been using it for couple years.

^ This. Simple fix. Just re code your VO.

Something in the vehicle order changed. Tried to do a complete encoding and see if it pulls redundant info from another module.

Real. I went to my BMW tech.

Have the guy ask PUMA for the original VO and reprogram the DME and then encode it. Should work fine then and re flash it with whatever file you are using after that. Hope that helps

I second that.. they can irap the car for him if they have trouble
