How do you get wires into/through the ECU box?

I have some that just pass through as it is a great entry point through the firewall into the under-dash area. I also have some that stay in the box for things like the flex-fuel module.

Currently, I just pass them over the top, and allow them to squish down a bit when I screw the top back on but I am looking for something better. I could cut the existing rubber grommets but have avoided that so far.

Been looking at various grommets, firewall pass through style, water-proof bulkhead type fittings, etc.

What do you think?

These questions exactly are what spawned my other thread about moving the DME/JB4. My original idea was if I made an aluminum DME Box, I would use the round milspec connections to bring wires in and out, etc.

I just poke them through the existing grommet iirc but the best way would be to drill and install your own grommets as needed:

Quick, easy, and VERY effective. Just use the right size/type.
