I began with an AP racing big brake kit on the front (which is easy because our front is the same like a e90) two years ago, already then I knew that I wanted a upgrade for the rear. It just looked weird with just the front. I found a couple of vendors who offer something for the rear and they are all from Taiwan, makes you wonder if maybe everything comes from the same factory.🤔 In de end I went with PB-brakes and I am happy with that choice, because at first it didn't fit and within around 10 days they send me new parts to fix the problem, that is customer service the way it is supposed to be.👍👍👍👍👍

Oké what's on the car:
Front: AP-Racing 6 piston radical² calipers with 370mm (36mm thick) J-hook Rotor and braided brake lines.
Rear: PB-Brakes 6 piston (forgive me for the AP sticker😈) calipers with a integrated electronic parkingbrake with 356mm (28mm) Slotted rotors also with braided brake lines.

Below is the complete PB-brakes set for the rear including the system (in black on the calipers) we're you bolt the actuator for the electronic parkingbrake on.

Good to see a solution for the rear brakes on E89s…the EPB is a big issue to over come..

So you bolt the old actuator onto the new rear caliper ?

What size rims do you need to accommodate the front and the rear calipers?

Pity the budget ran out and you couldn’t afford matching front and rear tyre manufacturers?👀🙈😂😳

So you bolt the old actuator onto the new rear caliper ? There is a special adapter to bolt the actuator (an electric motor) to.

What size rims do you need to accommodate the front and the rear calipers? Front needs 19 inch, rear 18 inch would work.

Pity the budget ran out and you couldn’t afford matching front and rear tyre manufacturers?👀🙈😂😳 are my winter tyres both from Kumho., but yes money is getting tight.🥴
I put the answers behind your questions. The special adapter were you bolt you oem BMW handbrake actuator to is the black part that is on the calipers in the picture below.

Hey there... now that it's been a few months, anything new to report?
No not really, it works like factory, but looks and brakes better.
From my experiences I would recommend it to anyone that wants a very serious upgrade to their braking performance.😊👍
It would be cheaper and easier to just go PB brakes front and back, but I am a weirdo so I didn't do that.
