Finally got my block on Friday, waiting on gaskets and bearings but I decided to pull the trigger on getting my head ported.

Looks awesome! I see the channels milled into the top of the sleeves, did you say what type of head gasket you're going to run? Also, I can't remember, did you have that block re-sleaved as well or just closed deck?

Hi. I didn't do a re-sleeve. I did the closed deck with "O" ring groove for coper wire, for the head gaskiet I think I'll go OEM with the Custom Age 625+m studs.

I'm going to be sending the head off to VAC soon, i'd like to get the

"VAC Motorsports Combustion Chamber Modification Service, BMW S55" done as well,

Anyone have any experience with this mod? Is there a notable performance increase?

Finally got done putting together this crate to send the head off to VAC! my carpentry skill aren't as bad as I thought!:)

I bolted the head to the bottom of the box, chopped an old valve cover in half, kept and installed the half covering the bridge for protection and also filled up all the remaining space with foam, should be nice and secure. šŸ‘
