Does anybody know 100% what the total length of the custom length driveshaft used when mounting a M3 diff to a short gearbox 12/2008 335i?

Considering 1-piece dry-carbon driveshaft instead of buying and shortening M3 shaft.

Mfactory dry shaft won't fit. If you want a shaft that fits email [email protected]. We are currently having them made. I need year, model, and tranny type. There is a difference between E90, E92, AT, MT etc. We can do the shaft for $1399 + shipping.

Maybe i can jump in here with another question:

I have an 2009 MT 135i. I really think about swapping to DCT- is the driveshaft the same lenght? Or do i need another one?
I don´t want to hijack this thread, but if somebody knows if you could theoretically use the 3.08 diff with DCT, i would also be really happy.

Thanks!!

Haha. No offense but what? This is a thread about putting M3 diff's in 335's, and you are asking about 135 driveshaft length? Honestly have no idea, you would have to talk to somone who is doing swaps on 135's

I'm gonna use a local Norwegian manufacturer since a us-manufacturer will be far more expensive anyway having international shipping and Norwegian vat at 25% added to the total cost.

I guess i'll just haveto fit the M3 diff myself to measure, then refit the 335 diff while i wait for the shaft to be manufactured.

Well with a name like yours I'd suspect you'd be someone who has a service for sale right?
