Does XHp have a feature to disable the kickdown switch?

I hate it and the switch makes launching in 2ns gear a tad tricky as it downshifts into first if I push the pedal too far to the floor.

Anyone know if there's a disable feature for it in XHp?

MHD has the kick down disable feature, do you have that yet?

No, not yet. Plan on doing XHp first to make some 1/4 and 1/8 mile comparisons with the stock tcu calibrations vs the XHp calibrations.

Then I'll throw MHD in the mix haha.

@Martial@MHD makes an excellent product. Depending on your needs, if you like extensibility, @Terry@BMS and the crew over at BMS also make a fantastic product with plenty of IO options which come with a physical tune. Either way, your car will be completely different with just one of the above.

You can disable kick down easily on the flash end, be it flash only or our back end flash map for use with the JB4. We also still have these $10 plastic clips for that: http://www.burgertuning.com/downshift_blocker_BMW.html

For sure! My 535xi has a procede and dci. Wanna do a turbo upgrade, e85, and JB4/MHD on the 335i.

I enjoy my JB4 w/ MHD Backend flash.

It's all preference really. Tempted to go MHD only though.

Just flash with MHD Stage 0 which is stock tune. And select Disable Kickdown in the Flash the options.
