Did 2016 kill the Car Culture?

Is there such a thing a too much power?

  • No, I need all the boosts to make all the power. Add a couple stickers too.

I think it depends on what you're trying to do. I personally could live with <500hp. But wants and needs are different :)

Disagree.

Has the car culture changed in 2016? I think that is the real question. We (as humanity) have been modifying and tinkering and changing our cars to perform better or look better for at least a hundred years. The enjoyment we get out of it isn't bragging rights (meh, sometimes it is), nor is it a dick measuring contest. It is our own personal pursuit to make what we have better in any way possible.

So, Has the car culture changed? Maybe. Has it changed for the worst? I don't think so. The car community has been brought closer together with use of online forums such as this. It sure is a hell of a lot easier to be a car guy in this day and age.
